With the client fully clothed, gentle manual techniques are used to bring the entire body into more healthful aligment. This light touch therapy improves the central nervous system, decreasing stress and strengthening resistance to disease. Prenatal Massage is a therapeutic technique for the expectant mother performed on a special massage "pregnancy table" designed with a place to cradle the mother's tummy while she is face down. Prenatal massage helps to increase circulation while it also helps to decrease low back and other muscle pain. In addition, it also promotes better sleep.

REFLEXOLOGY

CUPPING

Cupping is an alternative therapy originating in China. It is performed by the therapist placing special cups on the skin to create suction which promotes circulation and blood flow to the area. Cupping can be helpful for treating many conditions including pain and inflammation, as well as encouraging relaxation and well being. Note: Cupping is now available!

LYMPH DRAINAGE THERAPY

LDT stimulates the lymph system to activate fluid circulation, detoxify and strengthen the body's defenses. GUA SHA

Gua Sha is an ancient pain relieving technique that releases stuck energy from beneath the skin. The basic technique uses a Gua Sha tool, usually a ceramic soup spoon to lightly scrape the skin. Gua Sha usually is blended into additional bodywork techniques for 10-20 minutes.

A private yoga session includes a consultation prior to session to individualize your session to your needs. A private yoga session focuses on alignment, yogic breath techniques and YOUR GOALS. I will cater our sessions to what you say as well as what I see in your body. I will offer you postures and techniques that will enhance your practice. Yogatypes can include: Vinyasa flow, power yoga, gentle flow, restorative, chair yoga, prenatal yoga.
Your own yoga mat is recommended. A towel or Yogitoes is optional to prevent slipping. As well as any other specialty props or items you might need for your practice. We have blocks, blankets, straps, bolsters and chairs in the studio for your use. Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that you can move in and the practice will be done barefoot.
