Tissue Bodywork

therapeutic technique using slow firm pressure to release chronic patterns
of tension and pain by using focused thumb, finger and elbow pressure
in concert with smooth Swedish style strokes. 30 or 60 minutes

CranioSacral
Therapy
With
the client fully clothed, gentle manual techniques are used to bring
the entire body into more healthful alighment. This light touch therapy
improves the central nervous system, decreasing stress and strengthening
resistance to disease. CST has been shown to be very beneficial in helping
rid the body of residual effects of trauma, chronic pain, eye difficulties,
scoliosis, motor-coordination impairments, TMJ, learning disabilities,

Myofascial
Release is a hands-on method that provides sustained pressure into myofascial
restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Myofascial unwinding
identifies unconscious and outdated holding patterns that may contribute
to pain and dysfunction. 30 or 60 minutes. $30 and $50 per session
Prenatal
Massage
Prenatal
Massage is a therapeutic technique for the expectant mother performed
on a special massage "pregnancy table" designed with a place
to cradle the mother's tummy while she is face down. Prenatal massage
helps to increase circulation while it also helps to decrease low back
and other muscle pain. In addition, it also promotes better sleep. 30
or60 minutes. $30 or $50 per session.
Healing
Heated Stone Massage
Utilizing
the elements of nature combined with the art of massage, the experience
is unforgettable. Penetrating heat from smooth basalt stones is used
to relieve tense muscles and sore joints. This ancient art of thermo-therapy
creates calming and healing responses for the body and soul. 90 minutes.

Reiki
An
ancient Japanese art using gentle energetic techniques to assist the
body in healing, relexing, and reducing stress. Conditions that may
be improved by Reiki: headaches, joint & muscle pain, depression,
sciatica, and many more. 30 or 60 minutes. $30 and $50 per session
Reflexology
A
unique pressure technique is applied to areas of the feet &/or hands
that relate to every organ of the body. A relaxing and deeply healing
treatment. 10-30 minutes. $30 per session
Corporate/On-Site
Chair Massage
Let
us come to your office or event! With the client fully clothed and sitting
in our special chair, 10-20 minutes are spent on the back, neck, arms
and hands. A quick & wonderful stress break! $65 per hour per therapist
Yoga
Therapy
This private Yoga session incorporates the principles of Hatha Yoga,
massage, breathing techniques and relaxation exercises to create a personalized
stress and relaxation program just for you. Comfortable clothing
that allows free movement needs to be worn. New clients must schedule
a free 15 minute consultation prior to the session. Yoga Therapy
(and any other bodywork modality) should not be a substitute for physical
therapy that has been prescribed by a physician.
Lymph Drainage
Therapy
LDT
stimulates the lymph system to activate fluid circulation, detoxify
and strengthen the body's defenses. LDT is used to alleviate swelling
and improve chronic conditions such as sinusitis, fibromyalgia and the early stages of lymphedema. LDT
can bring the client into a state of profound relaxation. 10-60 minutes.
$20-50 per session.
Esalen Massage
Esalen is a full body massage that incorporates
the body as a whole. Instead of focusing on one specific area of the
body, Esalen massage incorporates the arm and leg in one stroke. This
technique provides the client with the experience of profound relaxation.
Hand & Foot Scrub:
Hands and feet are wrapped in soothing wet warm towels, scrubbed with a dead sea salt mixure to exfoliate, rinsed with relaxing warm water and then massaged. The service also includes scalp, neck and shoulder massage. 30 minutes. $40.00
Body Wrap
A dry exfoliation prepares the body for scented warm mint or lavender lotin. Then you are enfolded within the sheet and covered with a blanket. While wrapped enjoy a soothing foot and scalp massage.
